power x weakness

its the most messy a toxic yuri entry can get, in all the right ways. ember's relationship with weakness is probably my favorite facet of this story, as well as the most heartbreaking. it's an indulgence that's killing her, it's something to get by, it's a way to survive. a story about the intoxicating allure of damage, and being damaged.

I've never read a work that made me feel more hungry than this one. Truly wonderful. This is going to sit in the back of my mind for quite a while and I welcome it there.

wow. that was awesome. i loved ember and milicent's dynamic, it really got me thinking about my own blorbos. the music was great, it absolutely stood out as a high point of this entry and i couldn't help but love milicent's red-eye portrait as a campy anime style rpg conversation gimmick.

Absolutely incredible work, the art is so polished and well executed.

When I went into this I was expecting something far more toxic and while the doll is a fucking disaster, I honestly found their relationship to be quite cute. I also really loved the expressions you gave them, Millicent in particular had some excellent imposing and frightening ones.

God it's just so peak, I'm gonna be thinking about this one for a while. Excellent work.

Such beautiful writing and tiny details that make you think. Stunning game and story! I would love to see more, either with the same girls or a new story, but please don't stop writing🩷

Lunapeaker dropped again and I'm so thankful, this was AMAZING.
Ember is quite the understandable, yet tragically broken little girlthing. The kinda girl I wanna see smile and find joy and be alright, and, one could say that did happen? In a twisted sort of way. I don't know if I can say for sure, but I know that I love her. She's adorable, and I admit I didn't actually expect her journey to turn out the way it did (I expected way worse!) With the type of girl that I am, I'm not surprised I could relate, but still, amazingly written lady...

Millicent on the other hand is plain awesome. Coolest vampire character I've seen in a while and I mean it!!!!! Her appearance, specifically, is so well designed and distinct to me, I love that she's got cool ass fucking dreads, is tall, pretty, able to be beautifully feminine while simultaneously exuding a butchy (futchy?) charm as well... She's also got some insanely shaky morals, but that's what we're here for anyways. The dynamic between her and Ember, their synergy, it works scarily well, and without spoilers, I gotta say the game diligently proves that with astounding success, it's that special kind of symbiosis that only manifests itself in relationships such as theirs. And that I adore.

I also just want to say that I'm guilty too, I giggled and felt my face heating up at certain moments while reading this, I audibly said "ohmygosh >w<" and wiggled my hands up and down because I found some moments cute, and I feel that I wasn't supposed to, but I simply loved these characters to death, I lovelovelove ur art and writing Miss, thank you for the food!!!!

I love the characterization of a vampire who considers herself as the lesser of two evils. Like yeah, there are worse things that could happen  to you than getting your arm ripped open and your blood sucked, but that doesn't mean she's doing anyone a favor! I think it's funny how ember keeps getting drugged when it's so unnecessary. Mill and that other girl could have just told it to do whatever while sober and it wouldn't have changed anything. The sad reality of the sub that won't let itself say no. TWISTED STUFF! I likes it! Ooh also, I really like now the display names keep changing at the beginning before anyone is properly named. Very cute/ funny.

I don't like it. I LOVE it. I'm obsessed with it. THIS relates to me quite a lot and the two protagonists are absolutely a match made in hell (affectionately speaking).

The VN has interesting themes that were explored very nicely and I simply adore the art and the character designs as a whole.  Love your works, will be following for more.

What a game. I knew I was gonna get something pretty good since I liked your previous title exploring some interesting themes, but this one explores themes that feel more relevant to me. The two protagonists are really compelling characters, and the art is just awesome.

Gonna follow your work for real now. This was unbelievably good.

i loved this, it was a lot more reassuring than i expected based on the content warnings. i really liked millicent (she has some great expressions; love how she goes between being imposing and red-eyed and then she actually gets a little blushy in that last cg haha), and ember was an interesting protag. for somebody with no sense of self-preservation it felt kind of inspiring seeing her persevere despite Everything (also liked that moment where she managed to make millicent feel unsure of herself, even if it only lasted a little while).

love the art, the presentation, and the music choices were great too. i feel like you packed so much into a short wordcount and it was very emotionally resonant, i really enjoyed it!

HOTTT HOTTT HOTTT i loved it, millicent is a really compelling character and i adore the complexity of her showcased in the span of 11k words, ember, too, is an interesting character and so cute lol. like a disaster you cannot look away from--ember was engaging in that way. im a huge sucker for relationships where two people who seem really different actually have some commonality and i was definitely getting that vibe here. i also really like how emotionally evocative the writing was, you have a really good sense of word choice. i was looking forward to this one as soon as you started posting previews of the art and it turned out so good <3 !!

Oh this game is AMAZING! The artstyle and general vibes of the game compliment the writing perfectly,  and I loved how the ending tied into the theme of symbiosis. Millicent's gonna be living in my head rent free for a long time.
